Right now, it's not super clear when I have new unread messages in a chat. The bold blue text is quite subtle, and I find it easier to see in WhatsApp when they have the number of new unread messagse displayed next to the undread chat.

It would be useful to be able to set custom alerts for when an event starts, for example 30, 15, and 5 minutes before.

I'm used to being able to swipe, or hold, to reply to a specific message within a DM or group chat across other chat apps. It would be great to be able to do the same thing in Onin chats.

If I'm chatting in a group, it's handy to be able to @ a person. If I'm speaking to someone/a group and I want to reference an event, being able to @ the event and have a clickable link to the event details would be awesome.

Forward a live copy of the event to friends & family. They'll get to see the event details but not the chat.

We all have enemies! Jokes aside, it would be great to be able to block people who we no longer want to contact us.

It would be great to be able to search for specific chats or events by typing their name into a search bar, to save time manually scrolling and searching.

It would be amazing if when I type 'are you free tomorrow at 6pm?' in a message, if I could then click that text, and be taken to my calendar in my keyboard to check my availability and add a new event to my calendar.

It would be great to be able to schedule reoccuring events. For example, if I go to the gym at the same time every Tuesday. Or, if I want to schedule 20 minutes of meditation for myself every morning, every day of the week.
